Entrepreneurs are frequently commended for their perseverance, long hours, and hustling. However, behind the scenes a lot of entrepreneurs suffer in silence, deal with burnout and total lack of work- life balance.

Consider an account I once read about a young entrepreneur who founded a startup. He had created a multimillion-dollar business at the age of 27, but at a great personal expense. His days began early in the morning and concluded late at night. He missed family get-togethers, checked emails during dinner, and hardly slept because he was always on edge. Though the business was doing well, his relationships, mental health, and health in general were deteriorating.

He didn't realize things needed to change until he experienced a panic attack just before an important investor pitch. Remarkably, his firm remained intact after he began to prioritize relaxation, delegation, and personal time. As a result of his improved decision-making, clearer leadership, and genuine enjoyment of the journey, it instead flourished even more.

Stories like these are commonplace at MWKI. Because individuals believe that working relentlessly is the only way to succeed, entrepreneurs push themselves to the limit. In actuality, however, a healthy firm is built by a healthy entrepreneur.

We assist entrepreneurs with stress management, boundary setting, and achieving a long-term work-life balance through Life Therapy Sessions, Trainings, Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and Mentorships. Ultimately, achieving true success involves more than just making money; it also involves pursuing your mental health goals and leading a happy life.

Therefore, reconsider your belief that rest is a luxury. Your biggest asset as an entrepreneur is your well-being. Trust MWKI to assist you in safeguarding it.

Wholeheartedly,

Janet Ngubia Gitau,

MWKI Team.
